This invention relates to function generators, particularly to mechanical function generators. Generally, such instruments are limited to the construction of a small number of closely related functions of a single variable, such as sin x or cos x, for example. It is an object of this invention to provide a mechanism for generating any of a very large number of different functions of one or of several variables.
