"A printing adding-machine provided with restraining means for the printing hammers is provided with control means adapted to co-operate with the differential actuator segments to take a total, such control including zero stops operable to signify the clear or non-clear condition of an accumulator, connections between the zero stops and the hammer-restraining means being adapted to maintain the restraining means in active position until the accumulator wheels are zeroized."
