"Relates to machines operating by repeated addition and employing axially fixed result and revolution registers, a shiftable set-up mechanism, and printing mechanism ar- ranged to co-operate with one or both registers, and com- prises means for coupling at any stage of the calculation the type carriers with the register elements, together with means for zeroizing these elements to set the type carriers and means thereupon uncoupling the type carriers whereby the result and at least one factor may be printed."
